Объявление об открытии выставки живописи Копытиной Анны "Роман с Тятей"

An exhibition of paintings by Anna Kopytina "Romance with Tyatya" opened on September 28, 2021 in the lobby of the South Kuril House of Culture.

The exhibition lasted until November 13 inclusive.

The exhibition "Romance with Tyatya" brings together the works of Anna Kopytina in 2019.

The main character of the paintings is the Tyatya-Yama volcano.
Anna came to Yuzhno-Kurilsk almost every year, starting in 2005.
But the 2019 trip was the longest, just over 3 months.
It was a real romance - Tyatya in the pink clouds in the evening, Tyatya behind the larch trees, Tyatya and a small swamp on the way to the Saratov cordon. Illuminated by the midday sun and powdered with snow. These landscapes are begging to be captured in the picture.
Anna had many plans to create paintings based on sketches of 2019, but it did not come true. Anna died tragically in February 2020.
Nevertheless, the sketches of 2019 look like finished paintings, this is real impressionism.
Anna Kopytina was a student of Konstantin Korovin in the third generation, and the artist's skill is inherited. Anna's paintings are made in the style of impressionism and classical realism. These are impressions of the nature of the South Kuriles.
Also at the exhibition is a large sketch "Shop of a Fish Factory", which was later used to write Anna's large diploma work (3.5 by 2.4 meters). And a lot of sketches for the painting "Fish Factory". Then, back in 2005, Anna first came to Yuzhno-Kurilsk as part of a student Putin squadron to collect materials for her future thesis.
You can see how the artist's skill grew from the first large work to the works of 2019, the last in Anna's life.
